Senior PHP Developer

We’re looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team and help us create cutting-edge solutions for our clients. If you’re looking for an exciting and challenging role that will allow you to leverage your skills and experience to make a real impact, then we want to hear from you!

Your responsibilities:

• Work with product and design teams on implementing new features and expanding existing features
• Design backend architecture / functionality
• Collaborate with the rest of the development team
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices
• Participate in code reviews

Your skills:

• 5+ years experience using PHP
• 3+ years experience using SQL (MariaDB/MySQL DBMS preferred)
• Experience using PHP package managers
• Experience using PHP unit testing
• Experience using PHP object oriented programming
• Experience using PHP documentation and code quality tools
• Familiarity and application of WordPress coding standards
• Experience developing WordPress plugins/extensions
• Familiarity using Git and code versioning tools such as Github
• Good English skills – both written and verbal
• Be a team player who is comfortable in a collaborative environment

Will be considered as a plus:

• Familiarity with CI/CD deployment methodologies using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo or Travis
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-a-code principles using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform
• Linux system automation using shell scripts (Debian knowledge preferred)
• AWS (setting up VMs, Elastic IPs, VPC etc.)
