Who we are

We are a small team with big ambition, having grown substantially in our first two years of operation. People are at the heart of everything we do and we are united by a love of problem solving and a thirst for new challenges. Each member of the team brings different strengths and specialities, and we can still sit together round a table and generate new ideas with everyone contributing to the design process. We work in an Agile way to get results, but we refuse to be constrained by tight structures and hierarchies.

Internships

We believe that the best way to invest in the future of both software development and Serbia is by nurturing new talent and supporting young professionals at the start of their careers. Every year since we founded we have run an internship program, allowing us to share our experience with students as well as learning from their fresh perspectives. 100% of our 2021-22 Interns have been successful in securing a full-time position within GDC Development. We are looking forward to opening the next round of applications to find the new Backend, Frontend, and QA superstars in Subotica and beyond.

Where we are

We are based in Subotica, the second largest city in Vojvodina in the north of Serbia, near the Hungarian border. You can take advantage of a better quality of life in this compact city, by saying goodbye to long commutes and busy morning traffic, and enjoying the Palić Nature Park on our doorstep. Located half-way between Belgrade and Budapest, Subotica is both one of the most multicultural cities in Serbia, and well positioned for international travel. We are committed to supporting the growth of our town as a hub of technology and innovation.

In June 2022 we moved into new offices, providing plenty of space for the team to work, play and develop. As well providing more room to collaborate and meet with our clients, we have an amazing terrace, board games space, and even a nap room. We also support flexible working and have a working from home policy that allows our members based in other cities to achieve a good work-life balance.
